Methodology

I tutor in my home or in local libraries, but have sometimes made exceptions and tutored in the student's home for an additional fee.
 
During the summer, I provide subject content and exercises. It is important to me to get the parents' input on what your child needs, as well as make a personal assessment on our first visit.  After that, I will get materials which meet the needs of each child.
 
During the school year, I can focus on existing curriculum or provide additional focused content as desired. It is most beneficial to the student not to simply help them do their homework, but to work on specific content areas they are having problems with. However, I leave that decision up to parents, as many families are busy and do not want their children coming home with a lot of homework.
